"Kodak T Max developer was the first developer I ever used,it is excellent quality and seems to work well with most B&W film.
The only film that personally I didn't think worked for me with this developer was Ilford delta 3200 speed, where most of the images were unusable apart from one, which I called "Lamps" and can be found over on wwww.clikpic/aldenholm
As I no longer use T-grain films I've stopped using this developer as it is slightly expensive, and at a 1+4 standard dilution you will get through the bottle quickly,,especially if you like to shoot lots of film, then cost can become an issue.
Kodak T max developer seems to be the ideal partner for modern film emulsions ,negatives both scan and enlarge nicely.
