The 42-inch 5-in-1 Reflector from Interfit offers convenient options for photographers and videographers to affect the colour and quality of the light. A reversible sleeve has gold, silver, black, and white surfaces that zip around a translucent white disc.
The gold side provides a late afternoon sun look while the silver bounces a cooler, more contrasty look, emphasising highlights and specularity. The white side provides a soft, neutral reflectance that's great for filling in shadows and raising the tonal value of the shot. The black side provides negative reflectance or absorption of light. Use it to block or subtract reflected light and create shadows or a lighting ratio. Used on its own, the translucent disc will quickly diffuse a harsh light source or reduce shadows and contrast in midday sunlight. The 5-in-1 sets up immediately and folds down quickly to one-third of its open size for storage and transport.

Diffuser
Softens the harsh, directional light of the sun (or any other light source), creating a more flattering and manageable light on your subject. Often, simply softening and redirecting harsh sunlight is all that needs to be done to create positive, natural portraits.
Soft Sun
Soft Sun is a woven blend of silver and gold reflective material. This unique surface casts a warm, soft glow of light without the harshness and overly orange colour cast of traditional gold reflectors. Soft Sun is best used outside during the golden hour when the setting sun naturally casts a warmer light.
Silver
Increases specular highlights adds contrast and creates defined shadows. Being the most reflective surface, the silver reflector can evenly fill in shadows made by the sun when used up close and project light farther than other reflective surfaces.
White
Arguably the most flattering reflective surface because of the soft quality of light, white reflectors cast very quiet, even light on your subjects, which helps smooth out skin tones and imperfections. Because white is not as reflective as silver, white reflectors must be used at relatively close distances and are ideal for close-up portraits and headshots. White can also create a clean background for small products and macro photography.
Black
Used to block, cut light altogether, or absorb reflected light, this surface can be used to completely block out directional light, like the sun, to even out your exposure, or to limit the amount of reflected light from your primary light source, creating strong shadows and a dramatic look to your images. Black can also create a clean background for small products and macro photography.
