The Protector is a clear glass filter that, when attached to a lens, quite literally forms its last line of defence against (minor) frontal damage. Scratched or damaged protector filters can be replaced so much cheaper and easier than your precious lens.

The protector is developed to protect the lens surface from dirt and dust as well as scratches. It is an ideal filter for regular use as it is completely colorless so it does not affect color reproduction.


1. Optimized design for Sigma lenses

* Design that is conscious of optical quality

It is designed to avoid vignetting or the decrease in peripheral light quantities especially when the thinner wide type filters are used with SIGMA lenses.

* Ultra Low-reflection

By incorporating Sigma's Super Multi-Layer Coating, the filter reduces flare and ghosting. In addition, black rimmed glass eliminates unnecessary internal reflections, and provides high performance for both digital cameras and film cameras.

2. Specifications and features that ensure versatility

* Water and Oil-repellent function (WR filters)

With excellent Water and Oil repellent functions, the filter surface repels water drops and provides resistance to even fingerprints. Even if they appear on the surface, they can be easily removed.


* Antistatic function

With excellent antistatic performance, the filter prevents microscopic dust clinging to the surface. Even if the lens gets soiled, dust can be easily
removed using an air-blower.

* Thinner wide type (from 46mm to 82mm)

By incorporating thinner frame (except 86mm, 95mm and 105mm) to avoid vignetting even with super wide-angle lenses, it is ideal for various types of lenses from wide-angle to telephoto. Moreover, a lens cap can be attached as the edge of frame is threaded.

3. Newly designed case for safety and utility

* Excellent for carrying and long-term storage

Thanks to Elastomer resin, filters do not move in the case even when it is carried around. The case is half-transparent so that content can be recognized from outside.

Delivery

Most orders incur a total order delivery charge of £7.99 including VAT for mainland UK delivery. All goods are shipped by courier services. The companies we use are DPD or DHL and parcels are delivered in 48 hours or sooner from date of despatch.
