Unfortunately some of the actions available present the user with almost as much difficulty as doing the process directly in Photoshop. The 1click series aims to avoid that problem in that good results can often be achieved with a single click, even complex effects such as lith and split-toning. Furthermore the actions are intended to be useful in every day situations rather than merely creating an extravagant special effect that will be used a couple of times before the novelty wears off.
They are particularly useful for those used to traditional darkroom processes such as split-toning. The effect of most actions can be easily adjusted by moving a single slider in the layers palette in Photoshop. More adventurous users can combine actions for more complex effects - experimentation is highly recommended.
