If you're looking for a wireless remote shutter release and a remote flash trigger, in one easy-to-use unit, the Hahnel Capture is the solution.
Building on the past design of the Hahnel Combi TF, this electronic device will take your photography skills on to the next level and open your eyes to a whole new world of creativity.
It is both simple and easy to use. It runs on AA batteries and is an open channel device with Digital Channel Matching (which in simple terms means you plug it in and it works!).
The unit comes in two parts - a wireless transmitter and a separate receiver which works up to 100 metres apart. You can see that they're working, even at that distance, because each unit has an illuminating window that lights up on the firing.
Typically, you'd use Captur when you want to wirelessly fire a camera with or without a flashgun but it can do so much more. If you want to use timed photography you can add either the basic Module Timer or Module Timer Pro.
Both accessories are additional. The Module Timer ?35) is ideal for time-lapse photography, is fully programmable and works with the receiver. The Captur Module Pro (?95) is an advanced timer module that also interacts with the receiver part of the original Captur but it also has four sensors or methods to trigger the camera: sound, light, InfraRed and laser. You can even use the 3.5mm jack on the side for pressure pad release.
Captur is camera-brand specific, with the appropriate digital pins needed on the hot shoe.
The digital channel means it can be used with the Tuff TTL for when dedicated flashgun control is needed.
