Most slide film chemicals come in kit form including all the developers and bleach-fix needed, with the kits varying as to the number of baths (processes) each one uses (either 3 or 6). For the 3 bath kits this usually means first developer, colour developer and bleach-fix baths with intermediate washing cycles if preferred.
For low volume users it is the Tetenal Colortec kits we recommend as they are easy to use and great if you want to scan your images after processing.
Processing at 38 degrees C, they will cope with any E6 film: Astia, Provia, Velvia, Elite or E100 T-grain type. This is because they have included a special additive that copes with the unstable bleach-fix. Typical bleach fix time in these kits is now only 6 minutes and with its increased concentrations, each part dilutes at 1+4.
The more traditional formulae kits from Kodak and Tetenal in 5 litre sizes give the best archival results and are the most suited for Jobo processors.
