Dust is the biggest enemy of the darkroom worker. If you are unfortunate enough to get dust on your negative or enlarger carrier, you will probably need to 'spot' (retouch) the final print - more about this later but prevention is always better than cure. For getting rid of dust in the darkroom, we suggest you always have a can of compressed air at hand. We sell various makes, but for economical reasons suggest the professional air cans from Kenro and Jessops. Both these brands are ozone friendly and can reach those difficult areas under the lens. If your budget cannot stretch to canned air, then a blower brush comes in equally handy. An anti-static cloth to wipe the negative is also very useful. Tetenal s Anti-Dust spray is the first low cost compressed air spray for controlling dust in your camera or camcorder that will not leak liquid gas onto your valuable equipment if you turn it upside down. This year Tetenal also launch a new Ant-Dust Mini. It is ideal for Digital SLR sensor dust problems being the only dust product that does not leave a mark.
