The SEAGULL 4A-109 Medium Format is the latest in a line of constantly improving products from China's oldest and biggest camera factory - established 1949 in Shanghai. This model utilizes the best features of the Yashica and Rolleiflex models of old.
Build quality continues to distance itself from those models of a decade ago. Setting of shutter speeds and apertures is now by way of knobs on the lens panel. You can view the settings whilst focussing through a window on top of the viewing lens. The improvements over previous models and introduced to the 4A-107 is a newly developed top cover that is easier to open and shut. A waist level viewfinder better protected from dust, the excellent 4-element in 3 groups, and a 500th shutter speed.
