Increasingly, photo educators are exploring the possibility of letting their students use their mobile phones to record images for inclusion in their photo projects.
We applaud this decision and for subject matter like reportage and social photography this medium is a useful accessory to normal picture taking. You only have to look at how many mobile phone images are now used by the news media to realize their worth.
We would however recommend a minimum pixel count of 3 megapixels (preferably 5Mp) before these images are submitted.
