Rollei's new R3 film is a unique film from us in that it has a wide ISO range of 25 to 6400. This is made possible by a many emulsion layers each containing different sizes of silver halide crystals.
Spectral sensitivity also covers a wide range from orthochromatic to panchromatic right into the infrared. Excellent resolution and contrast allow almost unlimited enlargement. The high resolving power is due, among other things, to an antihalation layer directly under the emulsion.
The clear base allows reversal processing and while Rollei chemicals are designed for maximum flexibility, the films can be processed in any of the popular chemistry but using the chemistry we currently sell (ID11 and Champion will only allow an ISO range of ISO 200-1600)
