Ohnar's 4x Loupe, is designed and produced to be free from any optical distortion, and is quite simply the best 3-way 4x loupe we have ever seen.
It can be used in three ways by;
1) Fitting the black sunshade when you want to look at a negative or slide on a light box.
2) Fitting the translucent hood when you want to look at a flat object like printed-paper.
3) Removing both the sunshade and translucent hood when you want to look at an uneven shaped object like a flower, insect, etc. and used as a pocket loupe. Then, you simply hold the eyepiece portion and move it up or down until you get a sharp image. In this case, you do not need to rotate the dioptre ring for focusing.
