The Nova Luminous Darkroom Clock is a real-time clock which can be used as an excellent process timer but also gives amazing orientation in your darkroom. We really love its retro design and it enhances the look of any darkroom.
It has a luminous sweep second hand which is very easy to follow for any timing processes such as B/W or RA4's 45-second stages. It measures 32cm (12 ½ inches) in diameter and the luminescence is recharged by your room light. If positioned correctly it will not fog paper (we suggest at least 3 feet from your baseboard). It requires a single AA battery which is supplied.
The Nova clock is 4 inches larger (in diameter) than our ExtendaLite but after about one hour in the darkroom we found the luminescence starting to fade. The ExtendaLite will last up to 8 hours without fade and is radio controlled making it more accurate.
