We get at least four phone calls a week from teachers who fondly remember the Junghans or Smith's Darkroom timers and to want to purchase a contemporary replacement which, until now, has not been possible.
However, with our appointment as LPL importer, this wonderful design is once more available. The LPL QT3 Darkroom timer has a four inch square face and clear figures from 0-60. This luminous scale covers minutes and seconds with an accurate red pointed dial counting the minutes and a white sweeping hand recording the seconds. The QT3 counts up or down with an alarm option that can be set up to 60 minutes.
The best thing about the design though is that you get two solid white and red buttons on the top of the clock that allow single action re-setting of the unit. It is battery operated, an AA battery being included.
