These are a valuable source of colour corrected lighting when it is a cold dark winters evening and you re trying to work out if your printing session has been successful or not.
This range includes a colour corrected daylight fluorescent lamp by Philips. We are just stocking the 5 feet fluorescent tubes but other sizes are available.
These tubes tend to be very fragile and we try to ship them only if we are sure that there will be no damage caused by transportation. For those looking for cheap safe lighting we recommend our domestic safelight bulbs in green or red - you simply replace your bayonet tungsten white bulb with the safelight version. Red is the standard colour for normal black and white printing. Most modern darkroom safelights take a Pygmy lamp with a screw fitting. Be careful as to which type you order, ES or SES. ES have thick shafts and SES have smaller tapered shafts towards the base.
