Kentmere Fineprint VC is a fibre-based variable contrast paper that has a bromo-iodine emulsion which offers good tonal separation and superior sharpness. It is up to 45% cheaper than the competitive product from Ilford.
The glossy and finegrain are characterised by cool rich blacks and crisp bright whites. Both have exceptional mid-tone detail. The finegrain is great for the more delicate image rendition without surface reflection. The warmtone surface also has a finegrain surface but with warm ivory base. It gives warm rich images with subtle creamy highlights and takes well to toning.
