Drying a film with forced hot air protects it and minimizes exposure to dust. With E-6 colour slide film, it actually helps the permanence of the colours too. Jobo's new film dryer, the Mistral, filters and heats the intake air with two settings of 35 degrees C and 45 degrees C plus a cold air setting. The transparent drying cabinet bag lets you keep an eye on progress made with magnetic strips for easy opening and closing. Up to 16x 35mm films or 9x 120-format films will dry in about 20 minutes.
