The new JOBO ColorLine 7000 combines the latest technology with extremely user-friendly operation. Separate keys for each function make the ColorLine 7000 easy to use. Even when the analyzer mode changes the necessary operating steps are easy to understand.
An integrated user guide displayed on the LCD panel. The ColorLine 7000 is pre-programmed for easy start-up and a high-quality exposure meter and timer for serious amateur photographers and professional photographers.
With the ColorLine 7000 your colour enlarger becomes a variable contrast enlarger (VCCE). Utilize the built-in contrast table or enter your own custom settings.
The ColorLine 7000 is also a densitometer as when used in conjunction with your enlarger you can read out logarithmic values of measured areas. This allows you to determine zone densities for zone system filter processing or colour correct-ions for colour processing. Exact slide duping is also easy with the ColorLine.
The LCD panel shows all information in one of six user-selectable languages (D, GB, E, F, Rus, T). With the easy-to-read text provided, the unit is the easiest to use analyzer on the market. Menus, user instructions, logarithmic values and time are shown with the LCD display. Back lighting of the display is user adjustable allowing the ColorLine 7000 to be tailored to your individual darkroom.
Manual exposure corrections can be viewed and entered in seconds or densitometric values and the 99 memory channels store different paper and measurement method combinations. The state-of-the art technology of the ColorLine 7000 allows you to use all kinds of films with programming a channel for each type. Multi-spot average reading, zone system, contrast measurement.
With the multiple spot reading multiple areas of an image can be measured and all the values are averaged. This way images with dominant colours can still be successfully analyzed. The combination of spot readings and a logarithmic read-out allow interesting analytical work with the zone system.
For normal colour analyzing the simple steps are: Place the sensor on the baseboard of the projected image. Press the analyze key. Adjust the filters on the enlarger until the ColorLine display reads 000 for filtration and shows the correct exposure time. Press the START/STOP key, place the paper on the baseboard and expose. Slope correction for exposure time and for colour filtration.
Until now only professionals used this type of sophisticated correction. Now any ColorLine 7000 user has this function working to increase the quality of their prints. The ColorLine 7000 compensates exposure time and filtration between one and forty seconds automatically.
