Allows slide copiers and older T2 interchangeable mount lenses to be attached to a body.
To use a T2 mount, an SLR body must be capable of stop-down aperture priority metering, or have the option of setting the effective lens aperture manually.
Typically used for mirror lenses, slide copiers, telescope and microscope attachment etc.
