We now stock seven papers in the range. There is a low-priced 170gsm paper in glossy or satin; a double-sided matt paper with the same weight; a beautiful, high-resolution 230gsm matt paper; a heavyweight 310 gsm artist matt paper and the best-selling, improved 260gsm photo weight in gloss or satin.
We really like this 260gsm Optimum paper, having established it as a firm favourite, it offers a bright white base and great light fastness plus no bronzing. At the pinnacle of the range is the 300gsm super heavyweight (cast-coated) gloss paper - for when the ultimate look and feel of a photograph is required.
Two specialist papers are also worthy of mention. ICI Olmec 230gsm High Resolution Matt Paper is flat-matt paper on a brilliant white base but with a clarity seldom seen on such a low-cost paper. It is high technology on a budget. For presentation or detailed images, we would have no hesitation in recommending it. ICI Olmec 310gsm Artist Matt Paper offers inkjet watercolour emulation without the prohibitive cost of other brands. With its subtle ivory base and a textured matt surface, one you will love for your very best images.
