All dye ink prints will fade, as will all colour prints, so the use of a UV coating varnish spray, like GePe's Light Protecting Varnish spray will increase longevity. GePe also has the ability to alter the coating surface of an ink jet print.
For example if you want your glossy print to become a matt one then by simply using their matt Protective Varnish the job is done. The varnishes are equally suitable for photographs too.
