This exciting product from Fotospeed offers the black and white darkroom worker a kaleidoscope of colours from a single box. The clever bit is that you achieve this through traditional toning. You replace the silver in the print directly with another metallic compound. The kit contains two yellows, red toner, blue toner, intensifier and activator. As the kit contains primary colours, through split toning techniques, one can obtain an array of colours and hues (at our last count, up to 72 different ones) either subtle or vibrant. In addition, if you use common salt (not included), fixer (not included), and developer you can manipulate the images obtained to produce creative and wacky effects like solarizing or freezing. These effects are fully repeatable, unlike Colorvir, so we would really recommend it for school or college work. The kit works on all black and white papers RC and FB.
