All our light boxes include a colour corrected (5000k) fluorescent tube that can be used for sorting slides or viewing negatives.
This overcomes the colour balance of viewing with a tungsten domestic light source. Our own Petite and Grande models also both offer affordable daylight viewing.
They differ in viewing area. The Petite (6 x 5 inches) has a tilt bracket for viewing and uses four MN1500 AA batteries whilst the Grande (6 x 9.75 inches) also has a tilt mechanism plus clamp bar to hold sheet or filmstrips. Six MN1400 C batteries power it.
Both accept a mains power adaptor 6v or 9v for the Grande
