A 5000k light source (daylight) is an essential requirement for any photographer to assess an image correctly. But daylight lightboxes can often be large and cumbersome. The trend in recent years has therefore been towards the newer technology of flat light 'panels' to assess slides and negatives correctly. The LP-100 has one lamp and a maximum viewing area of 5 x 4 inches. It runs off MN1500 batteries or AC adaptor.
The LP-300 (6 x 8 ins.) and LP-400 (8 x 12 ins.) models are AC power only. Each has two lamps with an operating life of 10,000 hours.
