The CMYK Colour Print Filter Selection Aid is a simple to use aid to enable you to arrive at the correct filter settings to produce a colour print from your colour negative. You will be able to do this without any knowledge of colour printing regardless of film, paper or chemicals.
The process is simple and briefly explained in the steps below:
Place colour negative in the enlarger.
Set your enlarger to white light, set lens height as per instructions and focus.
Place a sheet of colour paper under the filter aid.
Expose then process the print.
When dry, examine the print and from the ten different windows choose the one that to you is the most correct filter setting, or if using the integrated method, the neutral grey window. Select this setting on your enlarger and then print henceforth using the correct setting.
