The Braun Multimag series is ideal for education users as each one comes with a 2-year guarantee. Six different magazine systems are useable in the machine including LKM (Leitz/Kindermann), Agfa CS or Universal DIN magazines.
They are all selective autofocus, which means the machine sets the focus irrespective of the slide thickness used. They also have a focusing override, for the fine-tuning of focusing, on the detachable remote control unit. As well as this, they have a preview screen, anti-jamming device and overheating protection. They take the bright 250w lamps.
The entry model is the 250 AFi. There is no AV socket, timer, or lamp brightness control and it importantly has infrared remote.
The SC663-AFi model has a built-in 14pin AV socket for tape recorders plus single slide projection/retrieval and brightness control. In addition, it is microprocessor controlled with a full 7-channel infrared remote control. It works (unobstructed) up to 30 feet from the projector, making it ideal for the professional slide show or classroom environment. You can also turn the AF off with this unit.
The SC668-AFi has all of the 663 features plus full function IR control and built-in timer - 0-99 seconds and overlap dissolve projection
