This novel new lens accessory changes any SLR lens into a powerful hand held spotting scope. It is both simple and easy to achieve by clicking your lens into the built-in adaptor ring in the same way as you would as if using your camera body.
Once attached the spotting scope magnification becomes the focal length divided by 10. For example if you attaché the Lens2scope to a 70-300mm telephoto lens you would create a spotting scope with 7-30x zoom magnification.
The Lens2Scope is available in 3 different lens fittings for Canon, Nikon and Pentax fits with an angled body that makes it easy for the eye to use. It can be used in a handheld operation or, for more comfortable viewing for extended periods of time, mounted on a tripod via the removable tripod adaptor.
This small accessory comes with its own carrying case and takes up about as much room in a camera bag as a normal lens.

The new KENKO LENS2SCOPE adapter is an accessory that can change any lens into a spotting scope. The LENS2SCOPE adapter's light-weight composite body houses a high quality roof prism, optics and an eyepiece just like a traditional spotting scope. When the lens is attached it becomes a spotting scope to use for viewing. The lens mount and housing for the optics are made from metal while some external barrels are polycarbonate.
The optics in the LENS2SCOPE magnify the image by a factor of 10x so that a 100mm lens would have the same magnification as a 1,000mm lens when viewing. Focus is easily achieved by using the
lens' manual focus ring.
