Ansmann Digicharger Vario Traveler

Ansmann's new Digicharger Vario Traveler is an all-in-one charging solution for all your digital charging needs whilst traveling. As long as you can remove the battery pack from the device, the Digicharger Vario will charge it - whether it is a camera, camcorder, MP3 player or a mobile phone.

True, it is not as convenient to use as dedicated chargers for each device - but it is hardly inconvenient to use (see next tab, Manufacturer's description) - and just think about the luggage space and weight that you are saving.

We also think that it is a fantastic back-up for any lost battery chargers (read: teanagers).

A Universal Traveller Charger for most Li-Ion and Li-Po batteries used in digital cameras, camcorders, mobile phones, PDAs and MP3 players. Also charges 2 x AA or AAA rechargeable batteries.
This product is very easy to use. Two LEDs indicate power connection and charging. Built-in overcharge protection prevents cell damage.

This charger charges most battery packs in around one hour using 700mA charging current. Auto-polarity circuits take care of the charging voltage and polarity. Two flexible contact pins can be adjusted to charge most types of battery packs using the supplied stylus.

This charger can be used worldwide, using the worldwide traveller plugs (UK, USA/Canada/Japan and Europe) or 'on the move' in a vehicle, using the car cigarette DC plug.

How to use the Digicharger Vario Traveller in 3 easy steps:

1. Remove the rechargeable battery from the device according to the manufacturer's instructions.
2. Using the enclosed stylus, align the contact pins with the contacts of the rechargeable battery. (No additional adaptor plates are required). Polarity is not important.
3. Slide the battery in and hold in place using the spring-loaded clamp. A flashing LED indicates the charging process has begun. Once the fast charging is complete, the LED light stays on.
