Our opinion:

What we really like about the new Canon A3200 is that it has a metal body, which tend to be more robust than plastic camera bodies.

This is a great little camera - it fits in every handbag or shirt pocket and is extremely capable. The trendy colour options make it an ideal camera for teenagers - or opt for the subtle understated elegance of silver.

The second big advantage of this camera is that it features Canon's Smart Auto mode, which is incredibly good at figuring out the perfect exposure, especially when there are people in the photograph.

The third feature we really like on this camera is that it has HD movies. Yes, they are only 720p HD movies - but the file sizes of those is quite large enough! As are 14MP images ... you may want to reduce the resolution slightly for everyday images (don't worry, this is very easy to do on a Canon camera).

The last argument in favour of this camera is the price ... we think that it is excellent value for money.
