If you have a creative streak and insist on quality in a printer, you will enjoy this latest stylish multifunctional from Epson.

Print Quality

The PX720W delivers top quality photographic prints - thanks to Micro Piezo technology (read: extra tiny ink droplets) and Claria photographic ink that delivers sharper colours and photos that are smudge, scratch, water and fade resistant.

This printer can be used as a stand-alone direct photo printer thanks to the integrated memory card reader (accepts CF, SD, Memory Stick and xD cards without adaptor). A nice touch is that the PX720W offers auto photo correction technology that is previewable on the built-in monitor. A lot of photo printers feature automatic photo enhancement - but typically, after you have turned on this feature in the printer's menu, you have no idea whether the printer has applied enhancements to an image or not? What did the original look like? What does the 'enhanced' image look like? Laudably, Epson's state-of-the art multifunction printers won't leave you in the dark on this point and let you decide which version of your image you would like to print.

Creativity

The PX720 includes software to allow users to create and print personalized CDs/DVDs, greeting cards, invitations, photo calendars, photo books, customized stationary and more.

Scanner

The PX720W has a scanning resolution of 2400 x 4800 dpi - and whilst not the industry top-resolution, it is perfectly adequate for most scanning tasks.

WiFi

Wi-Fi and Ethernet networking are built in for sharing with all users in a home with a range of security settings and encryption options.

In essence, this is a multifunctional that exceeds the scope of most of its competitors by promising to print, scan, copy and network not just adequately but brilliantly.
