The Gorillapod SLR is intended to support hybrid compact digitals, film or digital SLRs without zoom lenses, flashguns and compact video cameras weighing up to 800 grams. Again it has a universal ¼ inch screw size with quick release plate and weighs 165 grams.
The heavyweight Gorillapod SLR Zoom is designed for the serious photographer and will hold film or digital SLRs with zoom lenses, flashguns and most video cameras weighing up to 3kg. It will also hold your tripod head, comes with ¼ inch tripod screw plus a 3/8-inch adapter and weighs 241 grams.
