Your use of Firstcall is subject primarily to English law and, where legally
effective over and above those laws, to all applicable local consumer protection

Purchasing from
Firstcall
Shopping with Firstcall is always safe, thanks to our safe shopping guarantee. When you place orders or access your account information, we use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology - the same technology that most web sites use to safeguard credit card and other personal information. All of the customer data we collect is similarly protected against unauthorised access.
When you place an order on our site you are effectively offering to buy the product which means that there is no binding contract unless we have cleared your payment. We generate an email during this time but this reply simply confirms we have received your request. Acceptance of your order occurs on payment being confirmed.
Cancellation Policy
If
you are unhappy with any product you purchase from Firstcall, you can obtain a
full refund by returning the product to us within 7 working days of the date
you received it and in the same condition as when you received it. For
returning an item, please contact us by telephone prior to return on 01823
413007 or email sales@firstcall-photographic.co.uk. Once notice of your
cancellation has been received and we are in possession of the returned goods,
Firstcall will make a refund of the contract price to your debit or credit card
used to purchase the goods. This will be done within 30 days of the date of
cancellation.The cost of returning goods in this situation will be met by
the purchaser.
Replacement Policy
If any item you purchase proves to be faulty during the warranty period (usually 12 months) and needs to be replaced please contact us by telephone prior to return on 01823 413007 or email sales@firstcall-photographic.co.uk, and if the UK, we'll send you a Freepost label to return it. If outside of the UK, carriage costs to return the goods will be met by the customer.
Carriage charges
Within the
UK, there is a standard delivery charge of £7.50 including VAT per order, levied
on all orders placed. There is also a minimum order value of £25 PLUS VAT when
you purchase from us. In the UK, all goods are shipped by BusinessPost courier
service and are delivered in 48 hours from date of despatch. This can be tracked
on their Internet site using the information we have – please email us for your
consignment number of the parcel sales@firstcall-photographic.co.uk.
Outside the UK (including the Channel Islands) carriage is charged at cost from the courier used (as nominated by you the customer during the order process). In most cases this charge is sent as a separate invoice by us after the goods have been sent and a final statement received from the freight agent as to the actual cost of delivery.
Your responsibilities as a Firstcall user
You agree to abide by all applicable laws. In addition, you
agree that (1) you will not interfere with another member's use and enjoyment of
Firstcall; (2) you will not interfere with or disrupt Firstcall' security
measures; (3) you will not interfere with or disrupt networks connected to
Firstcall, and will comply with all regulations, policies and procedures of such
networks; and (4) you will comply with United Kingdom law regarding the
transmission of technical data exported from the United Kingdom. You also agree
to indemnify Firstcall as well as its parents, subsidiaries, affiliates,
officers, shareholders, employees and independent contractors (and to keep them
indemnified on an ongoing basis), against any cost, claim or demand, including
reasonable legal fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of your use
of Firstcall, your violation of these terms of business, or your violation of
the rights of any third party.
We may terminate your Firstcall account or suspend your access to all or part of Firstcall, without notice, if you violate these terms or if you engage in any conduct that we, in our sole discretion, believe is in violation of any applicable law or regulation or is otherwise harmful to the interests of Firstcall, any other Firstcall user, or any third party. If your account is terminated, we may, but are not required to, remove some or all of your content from our servers.
We enjoy hearing from you
We
enjoy hearing from you and welcome your comments about our products and
services. However, if you send us a business idea or suggestion -- for example,
about how to improve or expand our products and services -- you agree that we
will be completely free to implement, use or modify, in any way, your idea or
suggestion (or any part of it), without any payment or other obligation to you.
However, if you suggestion is especially valuable to us, we will probably make a
gift as a gesture of our gratitude, as we are committed to excellent service and
to making the best products and services available to our customers and we can
only do that with your help and feedback.

guarantee that our service will be uninterrupted or error-free. We are not
responsible for claims brought by third parties arising from your use of
Firstcall – any rights of third parties are expressly excluded.
Our liability to you for our products is limited to a refund of the price paid plus the amount of any costs you reasonably incur in returning the products to us.
Product photos are for illustration only and the actual products may vary from those shown but only in terms of design – any material variations in specification will entitle you to cancel your order or, if the goods have been delivered, to return the goods and obtain a full refund.
Any current or future links to other sites are provided as a convenience only, and we assume no responsibility or liability for the contents of those other sites, or any products or services advertised or sold on those sites.

Privacy Policy
We take your
privacy of your personal information seriously. The data we hold about your
purchase is held on a secure database. This data is protected under the Data
Protection Act (see our registration details below) and we never sold or shared
with any other party. IP addresses are not stored by us. Your email address is
stored by a third party company www.roving.com who we use occasionally to send
you email newsletters. This company conforms fully to email standards and you
can unsubscribe to these newsletters at anytime on-line.
Miscellaneous
Firstcall
reserves the right to change these terms without notice but, if you place an
order at a particular time, the terms prevailing at that time will continue
apply to that order. If any provision of these terms is held to be unlawful,
void or for any reason unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed severable
from the remainder of the terms and shall not affect the validity and
enforceability of the remaining provisions. These terms constitute your entire
agreement with Firstcall. Firstcall reserves the right to make changes to our
site, disclaimers, and policies at any time.
